ABT4505 - Data Logging Switch Gauge
The ABT4505 Data-Logging Switch Gauge has been developed for the electronic capture of geometry data within the Switch & Crossing area.
The operator positions the gauge on the track as per the directions of a pre-formatted measurement regime displayed on the supplied hand held PDA.
Subsequent geometry data is sent from the gauge via a wireless connection where it is displayed on the screen of the PDA.
The Abtus software allows the user to create and edit numerous switch & crossing measurement regimes, for different types of switches and standards worldwide.
All recordings are stored on the PDA on a SD memory card as a .CSV (comma separated variable) file for immediate download & review on most PC spreadsheets applications.
The Equipment comprises of a lightweight GRP & nylon track gauge, hand-held PDA including Abtus software and associated chargers.
